And the people have spoken! 'Twilight' trumped 'Inception,' Kristen Stewart beat out Angelina Jolie AND Jennifer Aniston, and Johnny Depp told Taylor Swift his daughter said 'hey' - only at the People's Choice Awards.
Queen Latifah hosted a fete filled with awkward moments (Why did Adam Sandler have that black eye? What was up with Zac Efron's Eminem-like swagger? Why didn't Jane Lynch notice the Gleeks behind her?) and plenty of surprise wins.
But the awards season's inaugural ceremony brought out some of the movie, TV and music industry's brightest stars, and if the night was any indication, the 2011 awards season is going to be one hell of a ride.
