Court Hearing Today in Britney Spears Conservatorship Case

 Los Angeles -- California--A hearing is scheduled in Los Angeles Thursday in the Britney Spears conservatorship case.

The pop star's father, Jamie Spears, and attorney Andrew Wallet have permanent conservatorship powers over the entertainer's money and business affairs.

According to Radar Online, the conservatorship could end within three months because Spears has gotten her life back on track.

The conservatorship likely will end in two phases, with Spears taking control of her financial affairs in the second stage, the site reported.

It has been in place since February 2008 after the singer had several public breakdowns and was hospitalized for psychiatric treatment.

She also lost visitation with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.She and ex-husband Kevin Federline have been co-parenting the boys.

Spears is said to be working on an album, which is expected to be released in 2011.
